OUR SERVICES

OUR AMENITIES

Foody Kitchens

Both the Farmhouse and the Cottage have kitchens that really let you make true farm & ocean to-table delights.  With dishwashers, complete cookouts, microwaves and French press or Keurig coffee makers, you're all set to enjoy the treats of the area.

Free Wifi

Not just free wifi; free real high speed wifi.  Speedy enough for us to run 2 kids full time at remote schooling, and 2 adults on video calls all day long.  Fast enough for any workcation.

Outdoor Activities

Ready for S'mores on the bonfire, or a game of croquet?  Prefer to play a bit of soccer or do some bird watching? Or just relax in a Muskoka chair and read a book ?  Take a walk down the road to the mussel farm? There is lots to do for everyone!

Laundry

A full size washer and dryer at your disposal.  We prefer lamby balls to fabric sheets, they're environmentally friendly and keep static cling at bay.  Or you can use the laundry line outside and have your clothes dry quickly and smell like the REAL fresh outdoors.

Beaches

The end of the driveway is as far as you need to go to find a beach with huge tidal flats.  In the summer the water is almost like bathwater, and the tidal pools are full of crabs, fish and anemones.  Maybe you'll even find some seaglass!

Family Friendly

We have 2 sons so we know what family friendly really means.  For the little ones we have a travel crib and high seat, and lots of plastic dishware.  For the older kids, there's a soccer ball, a softball and bat, a treehouse (not too high!) which is perfect for hiding out, Lego, puzzles, books and of course, great wifi.  Did we mention Tatamagouche Ice Creamery ?

Exploring the surrounding countryside on horseback is a great way to spend an afternoon.  You can even bring your own horse and board it nearby.

There are several golf options nearby.  For a casual afternoon, there are some lovely 9-hole courses that are nestled into the local nature.  For the serious golfer, there is a championship Graham Cooke designed course ready to challenge you!

If you're looking for some serious 5 star pampering, there is a spectacular spa a short drive away.  Hot stone massages, facials, manis and pedis, and calming pools are all ready to help you relax and find peace.

Fishing

Nova Scotia, and Cumberland county (where we are) have some of the best fishing in Canada. Whether your angle, fly or prefer ocean pursuits, the fish are always biting - salmon, trout, bass to name a few.

Kayaking and Canoeing

There are a number of lovely rivers nearby that you can take advantage of.  If you don't have your own, kayaks and canoes are available to rent at a local shop.
